2016 RS:X World Windsurfing Championships – Eilat The last three Final Series races were completed yesterday and Piotr Myszka POL extended his lead in the RS:X men on 22 points, and is herewith the premature World Champion before the today’s Medal Race. The fight for Silver and Bronze will be close. Nick Dempsey GBR on 2nd ist only one point ahead of Kiran Badloe NED. Dorian Van Rijsselberghe NED on 4th and Pawel Tarnowski POL on 5th have also an option for a Medal.
A victory for Poland in sight in the RS:X women as well with Malgorzata Bialecka POL 11 points ahead of Lilian de Geus NED before the Medal Race. The Dutch woman Lilian de Geus has to concentrate on the defense of Silver, as Zofia Noceti-Klepacka POL and Bryony Shaw GBR are only one, respectively 2 points back. Stefania Elfutina RUS has also chances for a Medal with an 8 points deficit on Silver.
